Yes, Boy Girl Mom exists as a home for the Boy Girl Mom & Dad podcast, but did you know that it was originally created to create apparel and merchandise for mom’s who had both a son and a daughter?
Hi! My name is Lauren and I’m a proud mom of boy girl twins. I entered motherhood not as a #boymom or a #girlmom , but as BOTH... a #boygirlmom if you will. I felt alone and that I couldn’t relate to anyone. Yes, as a twin mom, but also as someone who as experiencing firsts with both children. I couldn’t find what I was looking for, so decided to make my own club and create a space for everyone. Sure, our name is Boy Girl Mom (side note - I chose it because BoyGirlMom.Com rhymed and I thought it was cute,) but we are for any parent or caregiver of children in general. Our tagline is “where you’re not alone unless you want to be,” because in parenthood we often feel alone, yet we are typically never alone. We love our kids, but also want a good night’s sleep and sometimes just some time to ourselves. We may want to sit alone for a while, but we don’t want to be alone with our feelings and experiences. In fact, we weren’t meant to do it alone!
If you agree with our sentiments and/or just have both sons and daughters, we are for you! We’re also for you if you have all girls, all boys, or neither. Believe it or not, we have customers who don’t have children - they just like our branding.
